I have used Pearce Funeral services three times now and I cannot speak highly enough of them.
The attention to detail and very understanding and helpfulness in a sad and stressful time has always been exceptional.

I cannot thankyou enough. It was an emotional time and John and the team at Pearce's made everything so much more easy . Nothing was too much trouble. They made the whole family feel special. From the minute we called them to collect my husband to after the service.

I thoroughly recommend this very professional company. Other members of family have had Pearce funeral services for their funeral and I will certainly recommend and use them again in the future.
I was also so touched by one of the members of Pearce's as he collected my husband . Whilst we were at crematorium he realized it was us and asked his colleague if he could swop with him as he wanted to carry my husband into the crematorium as he knew him. Thankyou to you too. That's was above and beyond so thankyou to you too.

John Pearce and his team committed to managing the burial of my late husband. From the start I found John particularly supportive and respectful, willing to carry every detail for honouring my husband and serving my family. Above that he was compassionate and understanding to embrace our physical, emotional and spiritual needs. He spoke kindly on how to help our grandchildren which enhanced their understand of the passing of their loved grandpapa into a better place. They could look with hope during the burial service and joined in with renewed intensity. That was a joy to me as their grandmother. 
The other outstanding feature of this particular undertaker is his attention to detail. He gently prompted me of all the possibilities that I might need to consider bringing the final event into a seamlessly beautiful burial of my loved one. From preparing the coffin to visit in the chapel of rest, to the lovely flowers on the coffin, to the petals scattered on the grave, through gathering a really professional team of coffin bearers who brought a hidden presence of support and respect throughout. Punctual and caring with a kind demeanour, John truly undertook for us. My family and I are most thankful and can recommend this very personal and professional company.

I can honestly not think of the words to rate Pearce Funeral Services highly enough. From the very first contact they have been kind, caring, patient and supportive in the face of our grief.
I felt my son was cared for and respected in a way that eased our distress.
All aspects of the process were clearly explained and nothing was too much trouble and no question was left unanswered.
I wouldn’t wish my situation on anyone but should you sadly lose a loved one then I wouldn’t hesitate recommending John Pearce and his team because you will feel the burden of your sad time lifted from your shoulders.

Thanks to David and rest of the team who were superbly supportive and provided excellent service for our fathers funeral, having done our mothers funeral six years beforehand. Dave was there to provide excellent advice and supportive in all aspects and stages of the funeral process from the initial meeting we had to discuss funeral plans right through to the funeral day itself. The whole funeral was done excellently on the day!

Professional, discrete, supportive, completely on top of everything in fact, liaising directly with the church, florists and crematorium. This was a great comfort to us at such a difficult time. I highly recommend Pearce Funeral Services who have conducted the funerals for two members of my family within the past year (summer and winter 2023). Pearce Funeral Services are professional, polite, kind and compassionate. I have nothing but praise for Caz, the funeral director, and John Pearce himself, both of whom were flawless in the service provided for what was a difficult and emotional time, especially so given the difficult circumstances of my sisters passing. Nothing was too much trouble and they worked tirelessly to provide the best possible service. I hope I have no need to plan a funeral in the near future, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to use Pearce Funeral Services and I can't recommend them highly enough to anyone who needs to plan a funeral. Pearce Funeral Services provided an exceptional service from the first phone call with Caz through to the committal of our dear son (brother/uncle). As a family we had not been through this process ourselves so close to home but Pearce Funeral Services guided us through the process with compassion and understanding and nothing was too much trouble.

During this sad time Pearce Funeral Services went at our pace which meant we were able to deal with our grief without feeling under any pressure to get things done. They always kept us informed along the journey so we knew what was happening and what to expect next which was a great relief for us.

Pearce look after everything from the beginning to the end. When we lost my uncle, it was so sudden we were all in shock and hadn't planned a funeral before. John came over and he was so kind and friendly. He let us cry, laugh, shout, reminisce and ask as many questions as we needed. He confirmed that they would do anything we needed and that everything didn't have to be done straight away and we had time to process and think. What I particularly liked was the fact he spoke to the youngest member of the family directly and explained things to her slowly and throughly and said that everything could be her pace. We had gentle reminders for deadlines through email and phone and to check in on us. Caz was absolutely fantastic, kind, friendly, supportive, gentle and she cared. We as a family were never rushed for anything at all throughout. On the day of the funeral Caz stood in a carpark holding a speaker with my uncles favourite song (this was a way she found to complete our wishes) with a possession of cars behind, and her empathy was outstanding, it was like she had known him. Pearce knew the grief we were going through, and it was almost like they joined our family for the process and couldn't do enough for us. They carried out every single wish we had and nothing was too much trouble. I honestly couldn't recommend Pearce enough, the empathy they show is outstanding and I will always be grateful for them for not only looking after my uncle but for looking after my whole family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
