Everything turned out well. The evening before the funeral we were able to do a viewing just as Goodings was closing which was nice showing how considerate the receptionist was.
Whenever I had a query and called in, the different people who answered were very helpful. Also, Peter was organised with plans and allowed the family to make changes with certain details.

A very professional service with a warm and compassionate touch. There was nothing they could have done more for us as a family. Respect and dignity was always maintained and upheld. Nice to know that they were aware of all the Sikh traditions.

There were difficulties associated with the arranging of the funeral due to our living 75 miles from Leeds, (the location of the death and cremation). These were not problems for the Funeral directorate but it meant that the whole process of obtaining the medical report, the death certificate, the green form required a visit to Leeds since electronic transfer of documents has not reached this process yet. Thus personal contact with the funeral service was not possible as an on-going process. Otherwise the arrangements proceeded as required mainly via telephone and email. This was not ideal.
