It was a very stressful time like all families who have to arrange a funeral for their loved ones but from the onset we were made at ease. Just like everything in life there are bumps so has death but Goodings funeral service made our mums home going service (although a sad occasion ) a joyous one. Every member of the team was professional yet comforting to the family

Where do I begin.... from the first meeting at the nursing home with Joshua and colleague, who came to collect mum. The respect, mindfulness, care and love was there. This was their 'mother' and she go the most respect any mother would desire from her children. Viewing mum was even more pleasurable than we thought. Her make up was immaculate and she looked so at peace – Thank you Amanda -. It was never any problem to visit mum when we wanted during her time at the chapel of rest. The funeral arrangement meeting was second to none - Joshua covered everything, spoke with clarity, and ensured all our needs were met, Including the beautiful white horse, white cart, and white feather plumes making us all feel comfortable at the meeting. The day of the funeral was great, and Steven was there to relax my brother. Gooding Service came through strong, caring and loving all the way. Their service is above 100% and the words 'thank you’ does not seem anywhere enough for all that was done. For some people the saddest day is the funeral, this was not so for the Morton. As a family, we said goodbye to mum with the help of Gooding Service in such a special respectable way.

Everything turned out well. The evening before the funeral we were able to do a viewing just as Goodings was closing which was nice showing how considerate the receptionist was.
Whenever I had a query and called in, the different people who answered were very helpful. Also, Peter was organised with plans and allowed the family to make changes with certain details.
