I will admit that we chose Coop funeral care at random when our beloved Uncle passed away. However, we are so glad that we did. The service, care and compassion that we have received has exceeded our expectations. We hope that we will not need these services again for a long time, but would have no hesitation if the need arises.

From my first contact with Co-op funeral Care Whitkirk to my husband's funeral the staff were so helpful and their compassion and respect was so comforting. Nothing was too much for the Co-op staff. From the initial call to activate the funeral plan to the completion of the cremation day everything was excellent. we were treated with love and dignity at all times by the 3 girls at Whitkirk.
Words are not enough to explain how good things were and how we were treated. Just amazing staff

i really cannot fault the co-op and there team through out everything they have made things clear and everything was so simply to get done, ever week they was giving myself a call to ask how I was getting on and they always asked how 2 other people was who help my through this difficult time they always remember all the names of people who was involved which I think is a very professional service that they gave, even when I picked up my wife's ashes I noticed that the date of her death was incorrect they even came to the house and sorted the issue out i cannot thank the team enough at the co-op was a great service provided by them I would certainly recommend them to other who need to use the service
I am still using them as I have a plot at Whitkirk cemetery for my wife's ashes to go

The service for my nan Evelyn Yvonne barraclough was brilliant the driver was great very friendly and looked after me and my family Claire and Emma the funeral directors were absolutely brilliant very caring and offered me and mum lots of support can't fault the services 😊

From my initial enquiry through to final arrangements to collect my wife's ashes the Whitkirk team have been superb. They have shown great sensitivity and empathy. They have directed, reassured and supported myself and the family appropriately. They have accomodated everything we wished for in saying farewell to a loved one.

Co-op funeral are at Whitkirk Leeds carried out my brother’s funeral last week.  He had set up a funeral plan so the first steps had been laid.
However the team at Whitkirk, Emma, Claire and Tracy were wonderful. They were in touch with my wife and I throughout, offering genuine care and support.  No query was beyond their remit. 
All our requests were fulfilled and on the funeral day itself everything worked perfectly. The celebrant was very good and set the right tone for the celebration of Stewart’s life.  His touch was a light one and made the service very inclusive.
Overall , whilst it may be a strange words to use, our feelings were of complete satisfaction.
My wife and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

All the staff are lovely at Co-op Whitkirk.  

Their friendly manner really makes a sad time much easier.  They are always on hand to answer your questions and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome to ring or visit them at all times.

They looked after my nanna really well, and showed respect to her at all times

The day of the funeral went smoothly as a result of their planning and again they were really friendly and helped everyone who attended.
