This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

We wouldn’t have got threw this pain without Cathrine and her team, she made us so welcome the whole time, even just to be supportive on sad days. I genuinely wouldn’t have figured it out without her!! Cathrine was a rock and a huge support, even supported us meeting him in his coffin. She was the best support my family could ask for!

After no knowledge of where my mum was after been picked up from the hospice , the situation was remedied by Emma the manager. Everything went really well from there. The care and attentiveness was lovely. Then the funeral came. Wrong spelling of my mums name and when announced where the wake was stating on the back of the order of service , there was nothing. We had to spend time telling everyone where they had to go. Making us late for the wake. Probably wouldn’t use again. Although Catherine was very nice and helpful at the Middleton branch
