Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Kind compassionate and supportive staff. Nicky helped to go through the options and pull everything together in good time, with full explanations. Simon went out of his way also to show respect on the day by walking in front both on leaving the funeralhome and when driving past Sylvia's house. I would recommend this branch, and returned to them after them organising Sylvia's husbands funeral in 2014. Thank you for your care and attention.

Loosing Mum was heart breaking but from the moment I made contact with the coop to inform them of Mums death they sympathetically and respectfully took control and gently guided me through the whole process from start to finish. Nikki, Simon and all involved were amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who has lost a loved one.
