Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

The service received from beginning to end was excellent. I felt that my deceased loved one was in good hands. Everyone was very respectful, caring and helpful, especially Shaun who was a tremendous help and support at such a difficult time. The service was very well organised and managed.

Excellent service provided by coop Funeral Services. We were treated with empathy and sensitivity throughout. Communication was first class class and we were kept up to date with how things were progressing and coming together.

Mark Kassim and his team have been excellent in arranging my Dad’s funeral. They have been compassionate and caring, despite a couple of hiccups, which have been rectified immediately they have provided an excellent service. I would definitely recommend Co-op funeral care.
