Excellent service from the coop at spring gardens from making the plans to collecting my dad from the nursing home 
We did have a delay in dads funeral taking place due to some paperwork that the Gp failed to send through 
But Claire and the rest of the team were very helpful in every step of dads care

A heartbreaking, shambles
The main office lost my dads body, then told he was over due like a library book, lost payments, lots and lots of calls email, then told the night before he was to be cremated it was cancelled TERRIBLE!!!

happy with Claire who organised everything from the beginning to the end, very professional, very caring, and ensured every detail was covered. We felt that she was a friend helping us as we were so reliant upon her. Claire is really a credit to the coop funeral services, a beautiful lady inside and out. Claire Davis dealt with both my parents funeral as they both passed away in a short space of time 
Claire helped make the whole process a lot easier 
Without a doubt Claire is an asset to have on your team 
On occasions where I have called into the office and Claire hasn’t been available, everyone has been welcoming and understanding.
Head office need to look after the team at Doncaster Spring Gardens

The funeral arrangements were very thorough. The actual day went extremely smoothly and was really well organised. The orders of service were beautiful. With regards to the actual funeral we were really pleased and felt supported throughout the process.

Anyone considering using Co Op funeral care though do watch out for the call from the legal team.

The funeral team asked if I’d considered probate etc. When I said I hadn’t they suggested they get one of their legal team to call me to help me understand the process. Naively I agreed. The call when it came was one MASSIVE sales pitch. Being somewhat still in shock and overawed by the whole thing I agreed to take their services - getting on for for £3k for an estate where I am the executor, sole beneficiary and there is no property.

Fortunately my better half was able to see the situation and we were able to cancel my agreement with Co Op legal services within the 14 day period. Beware.

The whole process was made easier by the totally professional support of the staff . The kindness, empathy and support was outstanding- especially from Shaun, the funeral director. Everything was done to ensure our worries were alleviated . I cannot thank them enough . I would also like to say how respectful and thoughtful the staff were who took my husband’s body away on the day he died .  
For any family having to cope with the death of a loved one I would absolutely recommend the Co op Funeral Service in Doncaster .
