This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Our family were extremely happy with the service provided by Coop Funeral Care in Lanark. In particular Mairi was a lovely person to deal with, keeping in touch regularly with details of what was happening. Lisa, the funeral director on the day, was also very nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone suffering a bereavement.

Having the loss of both parents within a week of each other was very traumatic. I cannot praise Co-Op funeral services highly enough. Very caring and compassionate service from everybody we came into contact with. Kelly,Kenny and the lovely Mairi.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services.
They made a very difficult time less stressful and for that I’m very appreciative.

I cannot express how compassionate and helpful the service we received was.
From dealing with Mairi in the office to Kenny and the other gentlemen we saw on the day of the funeral the service was outstanding.
