I had chosen a non- attended funeral and would thoroughly recommend Stuart Foster funeral services. I  was really pleased that I could add personal touches including Dad wearing an outfit I had chosen and putting some photos into his coffin. I was given lots of support and knew exactly what would be happening and when. 
Ellie was amazing.

We are struggling to find the right words to describe how thankful we are that Stuart looked after our baby girl when she died unexpectedly, aged 15 months. From the first minute we met Stuart, we knew our daughter was in safe hands; he was a shining light for us and kept us going in the most difficult time of our lives. Stuart really went above and beyond; he met with us regularly, made himself available to speak to 24 hours a day and continually reassured us before, during and after our daughter’s funeral. He gave helpful advice but ensured that every decision was ours. He had such a professional and caring manner but throughout the whole process, it was Stuart’s kindness which shone through and in the most heartbreaking of times, we now feel we have gained a lifelong friend in Stuart. We refuse to believe there is a better funeral director on this planet and we will forever be grateful for Stuart looking after us, our family and our baby girl. Thank you.

Where to I start with these guys? They are just brilliant, so much compassion and care. This is our 3rd funeral with Stuart and I just would not want to use anyone else in future. All the staff are amazing.

 Very very caring and compassionate to myself and all the family.  My late husband was looked after exceptionally from the time he arrived in the Chapel of rest, the deceased loved ones are not left alone, they go and see them which is very reassuring. You have time to spend with your loved one in a relaxed way, which really helps emotionally and the Chapel of rest itself is decorated beautifully and it’s light and airy and comforting. They do little an additional touches which is really nice. Just lovely people and they gave my husband a great send off, just what we wanted. I would recommend them to anyone. Louise.

I would say this firm were nearly perfect. My funeral director was outstanding she was very responsive, offering suggestions when appropriate and taking away concerns I had as soon as I raised them. She brought dignity to the event without any stuffiness.
The funeral service was well managed particularly as some of my instructions regarding how we we were to arrive and be seated were a little clumsy.
I reduced my rating from excellent to very good as there were some problems going to and from the Crematorium. Again the team handled the situation as best they could, given the two incidents were largely outside their control. and my funeral director did apologize via WhatsApp. I did feel the follow up could have been a little more formal, perhaps an email from Mr. Foster apologizing and explaining what the technical problem was? or even an offer of some compensation. This may sound tawdry given the situation and I would have refused, but it would have been well received by me.
I would not hesitate to recommend this firm however. Rather than say four stars I would say 9 out of 10.

The empathetic, competent and friendly service I received from Fosters was exceptional, with all details being included. Being confronted with the passing of a loved one and all the formalities crowding in can be traumatic and a sympathetic but professional Company is an absolute boon. Fosters was highly recommended by my hairdresser who has two friends employed there and told me what a lovely Firm they were.

Trevor and the team were fantastic throughout and Antonia was outstanding in the way she linked the celebration of dad’s  life into the recent passing of my mother also.
