Where to I start with these guys? They are just brilliant, so much compassion and care. This is our 3rd funeral with Stuart and I just would not want to use anyone else in future. All the staff are amazing.

A heartfelt thank you to Stuart Foster  and  staff.   At what is the most difficult time for any family,  from making the very first call to this very day, you have supported , understood, reassured and guided us.  Nothing too much trouble, no question to silly  and you took the time to understand us.     Every detail thought about, our  loved one kept safe in your care throughout.    Your compassion, professionalism, patience  and guidance  gave us absolute unquestionable support and the  strength we needed then and now.   A professional, personal, reliable, supportive  and caring service.        Thank you.

 Very very caring and compassionate to myself and all the family.  My late husband was looked after exceptionally from the time he arrived in the Chapel of rest, the deceased loved ones are not left alone, they go and see them which is very reassuring. You have time to spend with your loved one in a relaxed way, which really helps emotionally and the Chapel of rest itself is decorated beautifully and it’s light and airy and comforting. They do little an additional touches which is really nice. Just lovely people and they gave my husband a great send off, just what we wanted. I would recommend them to anyone. Louise.

I would say this firm were nearly perfect. My funeral director was outstanding she was very responsive, offering suggestions when appropriate and taking away concerns I had as soon as I raised them. She brought dignity to the event without any stuffiness.
The funeral service was well managed particularly as some of my instructions regarding how we we were to arrive and be seated were a little clumsy.
I reduced my rating from excellent to very good as there were some problems going to and from the Crematorium. Again the team handled the situation as best they could, given the two incidents were largely outside their control. and my funeral director did apologize via WhatsApp. I did feel the follow up could have been a little more formal, perhaps an email from Mr. Foster apologizing and explaining what the technical problem was? or even an offer of some compensation. This may sound tawdry given the situation and I would have refused, but it would have been well received by me.
I would not hesitate to recommend this firm however. Rather than say four stars I would say 9 out of 10.

The empathetic, competent and friendly service I received from Fosters was exceptional, with all details being included. Being confronted with the passing of a loved one and all the formalities crowding in can be traumatic and a sympathetic but professional Company is an absolute boon. Fosters was highly recommended by my hairdresser who has two friends employed there and told me what a lovely Firm they were.

Trevor and the team were fantastic throughout and Antonia was outstanding in the way she linked the celebration of dad’s  life into the recent passing of my mother also. Ellie and the team at SF Funeral care were very good from start to finish - understood how to deal with the process and situation well, provided continual support on how you arrange and do a funeral as well as all the admin that is required for it.

Excellent service, provided by a professional firm. Staff who took the pressure off at such a difficult time, and who offered support and knowledge, whatever the request. Most importantly, they were beautifully turned out and the cars immaculate. These details matter when it is the last mark of respect. I also felt confident that my sister was being cared for by people who really did care. They deserve their reviews and this is why we chose them.

Stuart , Ellie and Joe were wonderful dealing with our late fathers funeral. There care , support , and guidance was exemplary. Also Jamie the celebrant wrote and read a superb tribute to our father Malcolm during the service. Thank you all so much , from the whole family.
