A.J.Wakely & Sons date back to 1897, and they opened a funeral home in Wincanton in 2009. The office is managed by fifth generation family member, Richard Wakely, alongside Claire, the office manager.
Richard Wakely, the funeral director for Wincanton, has a Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration (DipFAA). He joined the family business in 2014 after years of charity work in the Philippines and is extremely proud to be following in the footsteps of his father Clive Wakely,the Director of A.J.Wakely & Sons.
