I can't praise Rhian Greaves highly enough. From the very first contact by phone to the funeral and the following discussions regarding my mom's ashes, her manner was wonderful. What is obviously a very difficult time, was not just handled with compassion and dignity, but made me able to feel more comfortable throughout the whole proceedings than I thought would be possible. We all have to deal with bereavement at some point in our lives, and the fact that there is a funeral director like R.Greaves & co to be able to help us is a very comforting thought.

My sister who died left instructions that Rhian Greaves was to be her funeral director. Rhian managed a two day funeral very well with the burial being in a very rural setting thirty five miles away from the town where she lived.  It was also very conveniently situated close to where my sister lived. The communication with Rhian was good. Thanks to Rhian for caring for my sister and for carrying out her wishes effectively.

From the outset Rhian & Eleanor were very attentive, sympathetic and highly professional during what was a sad and difficult time.

Eleanor was a great support and ensured that the process was as comfortable and easy as possible and fully supported myself, my father and family throughout the entire process and stated clearly what needed to happen.

Everything was well organised including the recommended celebrant, Inga, who conducted and presented a very personalised service at the crematorium. The recommended florist made a beautiful 'Garden' spray for the coffin which my mother would have loved and truly represented her passion for gardening.

There were thoughtful follow up calls and we were updated regularly.

Absolutely couldn’t fault the service provided by Eleanor. She directed Mums funeral and as expected everything went like clockwork. Eleanor instils confidence in you that everything will be sorted and communication was excellent. Would definitely recommend- can’t think of any improvements they could make.

After the death of my mother in law, a few years ago, we persuaded my parents to take out a prepaid funeral plan through Rhian. On the recent death of my father, it was much less stressful, knowing the funeral was paid for and he had a hand in the planning. I would highly recommend R Greaves & Co, at what is a very stressful and emotional time, Rhian's calm, understanding and "nothing is too much trouble" attitude is greatly appreciated.
