All the people we met were helpful, patient and sensitive. One of the people in the office actually knew my mother, and everybody involved seemed to have long experience of and good relations with the church where the funeral was held. My mother had a prepaid funeral plan set up many years ago; the funeral directors advised me that they are no longer offering this plan, but assured me that they would still honour all existing arrangements. It must have been unrewarding financially for them, but they were unfailingly attentive, and generous and flexible with their time. We felt we were in good hands.

From the very first moment our family needed Hancocks support from the sudden loss of our beloved Alan, we were treated with compassion, kindness, guidance and the very best of care. The celebrant was also a massive help to my daughter who arranged her stepfather’s funeral.  As a family we really could not have asked for anything better than what Hancocks gave and showed us. Best in the business. Hancock  funeral directors are a truly genuine company. Darren and all of his staff have big hearts and your loved one, like mine, will be treated with dignity and kindness.

There’s no words  to thank Darren, Simon, Helen, Kim, and the rest of the  staff for looking after Steve the way they did. His death was unexpected, and I went into total shock. They looked after me from the beginning to the end of Steve’s journey. They certainly went above and beyond.
