About Us
The original branch in Beeston was established as an Independent Family-run Funeral Directors in 2007 by Julie and husband Richard Wesson.
Julie began her career in the Funeral business from 17 years old, having enrolled in a YTS government training scheme and has since gone on to earn recognition for her hard work with a Diploma in Funeral Directing.
Having started out at another premises in Beeston, the new office, opened in January 2020 by Tina Stowell MBE (Baroness Stowell of Beeston), is located around the corner from Villa Street and named Harold House in honour of Julie's father, who sadly died only a couple of years prior.
Julie Wesson Independent Funeral Directors understands bereavement is one of the most harrowing and emotionally difficult experiences a person can go through and their trained staff can provide the highest level of care, guidance and support available, as well as take care of your loved one with respect and dignity.
Call Julie Wesson and the team today for further assistance and advice, to ask for a quote, or to engage their services and begin making funeral arrangements.

Alison was brilliant at guiding the whole family at what needed to be done. On the day her delivery of the service was flawless. Everyone could hear what she said. She delivered the service with clarity and respect. We are so grateful for her support.

Sally was very compassionate & extremely efficient. There were a lot of things to sort out but we all felt fully supported throughout the whole process. Julie Wessons also provided our celebrant who delivered a lovely eulogy for mum. Would not hesitate to recommend them .
