Sally was very compassionate & extremely efficient. There were a lot of things to sort out but we all felt fully supported throughout the whole process. Julie Wessons also provided our celebrant who delivered a lovely eulogy for mum. Would not hesitate to recommend them .

Hi, When my mother passed away 8 years ago we used Julie Wesson to arrange her funeral.I couldnt fault the service i received in any way.Therefore when my Dad passed away earlier in the year ,in January,there was only Julie Wesson i thought of to arrange his funeral.Again the service was first class and Ellie,who was our main contact,did an amazing job.Many thanks to you all.

Mum had a funeral plan with Julie Wesson, so when the time came she would be looked after by them. I can't fault them. so understanding and nothing was too much trouble for them So friendly, and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone. Also the celebrant, Debbie was amazing.

At a time of great stress and feeling like we had no idea what we were doing, this lovely company guided us through every step, spending as much time as we needed to discuss and make plans, and ask all the question's we wanted.

I recently had the responsibility of arranging a funeral for one of our wonderful service users who passed away unexpectedly. It was the first time I had ever arranged a funeral on my own, and I was nervous about getting everything right. From the very beginning, Sally, our funeral director, was an absolute beacon of support, compassion, and professionalism.

Sally guided me through every step of the process with such kindness and clarity that what initially felt overwhelming soon became manageable. Her empathy and attention to detail ensured that we were able to create a service that was not only respectful and dignified but also deeply personal. I truly believe it was an event our service user would have been proud of.

What stood out most was the care and sensitivity shown not just to me, but to our entire staff team and other service users, who were understandably emotional. Sally and the team at Julie Wesson Funeral Directors went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt supported.

I cannot thank them enough for the time, effort, and genuine compassion they put into every aspect of the arrangements. Their service was nothing short of exceptional, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of funeral services.

We were very happy with the care we received for mum. She had chosen Julie Wesson herself and had organised a prepaid plan. It made the whole process very easy to do the finishing touches. Staff couldn’t do enough for us and kept us informed throughout, and on the day everything was handled with compassion and care. Nothing was too much trouble.

The service we received was excellent. Ellie was very empathetic and advised us well. Communication was fantastic, our celebrant Debbie Wombwell was incredible. On the day of the Funeral, Richard was very accomodating to a request from the care home to do a drive past for the residents. The funeral attendance was in the hundreds and this was dealt with perfectly so we had maximum time in the chapel. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Thankyou so much for making a terrible time go so smoothly.

I cannot recommend Julie Wesson and the team highly enough. The kindness, care and professionalism that we received during every part of planning mum's funeral was fantastic and the day was a perfect tribute to her. Sally really took the time to hear about mum and her suggestions for the Celebrant, flowers, etc. were spot on and she designed an order of service that was absolutely perfect. 

We felt supported at every single point. It was actually only in the days after the funeral that I realised that I hadn't been worried or stressed about any of the arrangements:  Sally organised everything beforehand and Richard and the team took such good care of us on the day.
