Gillotts Funeral Directors are an independent family funeral director in Stapleford. They offer caring and compassionate funeral services to families in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and into Leicestershire, although they will cover almost any area on request.
The Stapleford funeral home was the first branch funeral home of Eastwood and District Funeral Directors - the former name of Gillotts’ Eastwood office, and was opened in 1986. Originally called Stapleford Funeral Service and located at Carrara House on Cemetery Road in Stapleford, it moved in 1997, to the current, much larger premises on Derby Road in Stapleford.
The business as a whole can be traced back to the Victorian era, when it began hiring horse-drawn hearses to local undertakers. The business has evolved over the years, but has retained its family basis and remains proudly independent, with it's owners closely involved with decision-making and running of the business.
The Stapleford funeral home is served by Funeral Arrangers Hazel and Jodie, and Funeral Director Alan Winfield, who will care for both you and your loved one before, during, and after the funeral.
Gillotts Funeral Directors has its own fleet of modern and reliable Jaguar hearses and limousines, ensuring that you can travel with dignity and comfort to the funeral.
