From the moment we first met Gemma, we knew we had made the right choice. Losing our son Tyler was the hardest thing we have ever faced, but Gemma’s kindness, compassion, and genuine care helped us through every step of the process.

Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she treated both our son and our family with such dignity and respect. Her support, understanding, and attention to every detail gave us great comfort during an incredibly difficult time.

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better service. We will always be grateful to Gemma and the whole team for giving our son such a beautiful and fitting farewell. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Gemma and her team organised a very respectful and dignified funeral for my dear wife Maggie. They liaised and coordinated with a funeral director in Wadebridge to receive and  return my wife’s coffin to Cornwall where she was finally buried. All went very smoothly.

The whole process of arranging Mums funeral was so easy especially at a time when you need things to be. The whole team were professional and empathetic, even sharing their own stories of grief which was all very comforting. Nothing will bring my wonderful mum back but Gilberts made sure her send off was beautiful. Thank you all!

The staff at Gilbert's were all kind, supportive and caring from my initial phone call. They listened to what i wanted and carried out exactly what we had discussed, making an extremely difficult time more bearable.
When i phoned to discuss anything, they were polite and attentive.

I just want to thank Will and Gemma. I can’t praise them enough for the way they looked after Joe from the day we met will  and arrange the funeral the service they provide is absolutely amazing. We met Will together at Joe‘s wishes and went through everything and in fine detail Will was absolutely amazing and everything they did for us I will be for ever  grateful. gemma’s correspondence and wills was fast and efficient and anything I wanted to talk about. They were always there at hand to discuss it the day itself although the hardest day of my life between them they made sure it ran to perfection and to exactly how Joe would’ve wanted it. The service at the crematorium was absolutely superb and it depicted Joe‘s life in every way . The horse drawn carriages with the icing on the cherry it was a site. I wish Joe could’ve seen it was a very humbling moment in time the cars are outstanding as were the drivers. I certainly know where I’ll be going when my time comes. so thank you again, Will and Gemma and all the team involved for everything you’ve done for us absolutely fantastic and I’ll certainly be recommending Gilberts to anybody who asked me in the future. It was a privilege to let you guys look after Joe when she needed it the most XXX
