Despite Michelle not being able to be present at Bryan’s funeral we had the benefit of Graham from Marske office. He was very sensitive and explained the procedure and choices available, gave good advice and carried out my instructions. I and the family loved the order of service booklet, which reflected our desire to celebrate my husbands life and let his light shine through. The whole staff team worked well together and we gave Bryan the send off he deserved both at the crematorium and Redcar Baptist Church; both of which were well attended. I would recommend Roseberry Funeral Service to anyone who needs to deal with the loss of someone.

For over 10 years, Roseberry Funeral Service has supported the local community of Redcar and surrounding areas with dignified, personal funeral care. Founded in 2014 by Michelle Thurston-Balam, who has worked in the profession since 2008, Roseberry was created to offer families a more personal, people-focused approach.
Specialising in both traditional funerals and direct cremation, Michelle and her compassionate team are on hand to provide choice, clarity and reassurance at one of the most difficult times in a person’s life. Whether your loved one wished for a traditional service, a simple and affordable direct cremation, or a contemporary celebration of life, every detail will be handled with professionalism and care.
Families can choose from a wide range of coffins, caskets, tributes, urns and scatter tubes to reflect their loved one’s wishes, including eco-friendly options such as cardboard and wicker, or traditional hardwood and veneer styles. A fleet of modern limousines and hearse is available, alongside bespoke options such as motorbikes, VW campers or horse-drawn carriages.
The Redcar funeral home has a private chapel of rest and light, comfortable and private arrangement rooms where you can discuss funeral ideas in peace.
