Callcenter staff need to be trained to a higher standard, my wife called to ask for advice regarding what we could and couldnt do whilst Mum was with the coroner, they didnt know advised would call back. When my wife recieved call they called her by the deceased's name. When booking funeral was given the wrong time, made all arrangements for 10.30am then recieved email stating 3pm. Also the length of time for Mum to get to the chapel was far too long. The whole situation I feel we had to hand hold

All our family have been very impressed with the kindness and professional care given by the Crosby Branch, especially Andrea who we cannot praise enough. There was nothing that could have been done better.
I have been asked, by several people, if I would recommend the Co-op and I told them how good your company was and that I wholeheartedly recommended you to them. I also told them that we had bought pre-paid funerals and it was the best thing to have done and this also I recommended. Thank you for making a very difficult time easier.

We had occasion to use Co-op Funeral Care in Crosby some 3 years ago following the sudden death of a family member. Andrea Steadman guided us through the entire process with care and compassion. When our eldest relative died recently, and following that comforting experience years ago with Co-op Funeral Care, we went back to Crosby. Andrea remembered us straight away and once again exhibited the care and professionalism we had come to expect in finalising all of the arrangements.  Needless to say, the funeral went off without a hitch, for which the entire family will always be truly grateful.

We felt very let down by the service you offered first of all my dad was left in hospital for an extra week as you didn’t have room for him in your care home and while he was in hospital we were unable to visit him. I informed Andrea that we were not happy as you were not providing the service that my dad had paid for yes I did get upset as I wanted to visit my dad and couldn’t as he was left in hospital only to be told that I wasn’t the client Stephen was but actually we both were as we both acting on my mums behalf as she was not well enough to come in and speak to you. Someone phoned us to offer financial services and you advertise on the funeral car which we found distasteful. I was also phoned before my dads funeral to ask about paying the outstanding balance on my dads funeral when it says in your booklet that you get 21 days after the funeral to pay the outstanding balance. On the day the service you provided was good but the lead up to the funeral we were not happy with at all it made a very difficult time a lot harder to deal with. My mum has a pre paid funeral with you and we are seriously thinking of changing the policy to someone else as we felt very let down and upset at times with the service you provided.
