During one of the most difficult times in our lives, the team at Albin Deptford  provided care, compassion, and professionalism beyond anything we could have hoped for.




From our very first meeting, they treated our family with kindness and patience. Every question was answered gently, every detail was handled with dignity, and we never once felt rushed or pressured. In the midst of our grief, they created a calm and supportive space where we could focus on honoring our loved one.




The service itself was beautiful and deeply meaningful. The staff paid attention to every detail — from the thoughtful arrangement of flowers to the seamless coordination of the ceremony. They honored our wishes perfectly and helped us create a tribute that truly reflected a life well lived.




What stood out most was their empathy. They didn’t just provide a service; they walked alongside us during a painful journey. Their warmth and understanding brought us comfort when we needed it most.




We will always be grateful to Simon and Elaine for the dignity, respect, and heartfelt care they showed our family. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate and professional funeral services.

I don’t even know if I have enough space here to write a review so I will try and keep it simple. My mother chose to take out a funeral plan with FA Albins, that was where we first met the lovely Elaine. 

Sadly mum recently passed away just after Christmas and so the process of arranging her funeral began.

There was never a time when we went into the Deptford branch or called them, that either Elaine or Lynne was at the end of the phone. They made us feel like family from day one. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The kindness surpassed all of our expectations.

As for the limo drivers, all 7 were great. One even offered my daughter some chocolate when she fainted in the church and I was told that one of my nieces was very upset and the driver that she had offered his lunch to her.

John, the lead undertaker, helped us cover my mother’s grave, I have never seen any undertakers assist in this way before and it was noticed by my family and friends. 

I could go on and on, but I won’t. If you are looking for a funeral director, do not hesitate in using this incredible, empathetic, kind and welcoming team. Thank you, the way you all were so professional made a time of sadness a brighter day x

We recently used F.A. Albin Deptford for the funeral of Sophia Brown, and the care and professionalism shown throughout were exceptional. From the first meeting to the day of the service, the team was compassionate, attentive, and supportive. Hello Elaine, Hello Lyn.
I just want to write and thank you both for everything that you did in arranging Pauline's funeral.
You made the process very comforting and stress free. Your advice was extremely helpful in my and my daughters decision making. I thought that the service booklet was really nicely prepared and printed especially the picture of Pauline (with the plaster). The way that the printers did that was spectacular. In my opinion that made the service booklet something really special. Please pass my thanks onto the person responsible for doing that.
On the day of the funeral your colleagues were excellently. They were all pleasant, respectful and as always smartly dressed. The limousines were very comfortable and in pristine condition. Then there were the little touches that make a big difference. A mat laid on floor when getting in and out of the limousines, a bottle of water and tissues in the vehicles for the mourners, the staff outside your branch in Welling showing their respect when we drove past, and the respect that your staff showed when another funeral went past in the opposite direction.
Elaine, Lyn and all of the staff who worked on making the funeral of Pauline a very dignified affair, Thank You.

We highly recommend F. A. Albins, Deptford. Everything was made easy by Elaine and Lynn who were so kind and caring. They organised the plot, hearse, flowers, cortege and funeral booklet, very efficiently, with attention to detail and to our personal requests. The Chapel of Rest was beautiful, as were the flowers and funeral booklet.

The Funeral Ushers were also so kind, reverent and unobtrusive; with many lovely gestures and marks of respect. They adorned the hearse in a beautiful and thoughtful way. We could not be happier with them and the whole team, their professionalism and respect. Thank you to all at this sad time...and God Bless

I was panicking having to organise the actual funeral but Elaine James   took all the stress out of what I was dreading having to do, the arrangements.  On the actual day of the funeral your first class staff made the day run perfectly, it couldn’t of been more perfect. Elaine and Lynn are wonderful, they took care of our family with discretion and kindness.
Every detail was arranged for us so we that we could focus on our grief and sorrow for our loved one.

The whole team was wonderful, they also paid their respect outside the main branch when we passed with the hearse on the way to the cemetery. That was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated.

In the most difficult moment of life they are there for you and it's comforting to know that you are in safe and kind hands, cannot thank them enough. ❤️

Our family were originally with a different funeral director. We were far from happy with how things were going. Just by chance my sister and I popped in and had a talk with Lyn and I must say how lovely of a person she is. Very sweet, soft, empathetic and understanding. Lyn went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was taken care of, especially the care of our mother who was transferred to their care. 
We are so happy with how speedy and precise the arrangements were managed. The day of our mother’s funeral went smoothly. The otherwise, pall bearers (the family carried mummy into the service), were lovely and very kind. Jaime lead and ensured the family were well taken care of. 
I couldn’t be happier with everything they have done for the family and we thank you for all of your support and care towards us and for taking good care of our beloved mummy.

Albins at Deptford High Street with Elaine and Lynn looking after my Georgie were lovely with her and took great care of my daughter.
