I cannot complement them enough Ashley handled everything in such a professional and compassionate manor. Nothing was too much trouble and every tiny detail was considered. They made the entire experience completely stress free. On the day of the funeral Amber was absolutely amazing. The respect and professionalism and how she addressed the entire day was faultless I cannot recommend  them enough. Thankyou For everything.

Kieran and Col who came to collect our Grandma were amazing and especially Col who made sure we all felt completely assured that she would be looked after. Col please never underestimate the impact your kindness and authenticity had for us.

Ashley was so helpful and kind and talked us through the process when I first called and has been a great contact throughout. Ambers passion for her job was so evident and made us all feel like Gabi was in the best care and that the decisions we made were all tailored to what she would have wanted

I would love to make a review for the funeral of my Husband Albert Ward on the 28th of October 2022.From the first time we went to the Co op to make arrangements for Albert s funeral to picking up he,s ashes , The whole team was absolutely wonderful they showed so much respect to Albert and the whole family every time we visited .Would also like to say thank you ,for the lovely service they arranged at the Crematorium.also to Sandra the  Minister who conducted the service everybody said it was one of nicest ,and touching one they had been to.So once again Thank you to Becky Ashleigh and Amy ,and all the other Staff ,From Margaret ,Stephen ,Stuart and Eddie .xxx Also thanks for all the cups of cofffee.

We couldn't of had a better funeral for my nanna & mum Ruby Burnett from start to finish Amber and Ashley was amazing and we couldn't ask for more they went above and beyond from the moment our beautiful nanna arrived into their care up untill the day of the funeral. The support we have received as a family during this difficult time has been outstanding and we couldn't ask for anything more. My mum and our nanna had the most beautiful send of and we couldn't of done it without the amazing support.

A big Big thank you to you guys for looking after our loved one.

Ashley and Amber, from the Mincing Lane Blackburn branch, was amazing!! They bent over backwards to ensure we was happy, my dad was well looked after and the funeral was how we wanted it to be.

My brother Jim 66 years old, recently passed away after a short but advanced period of suffering cancer. Jim expressively requested a Simple Funeral with no attendees, although given the cancer was rapid, Jim never quite got to sort his own funeral arrangements, and this was left to us as his family. I contacted a Funeral Director online who was advertising Simple Funerals on the morning of the actual day Jim died at home but after a delay in them responding, and feeling nervous of the online service I made enquiries to Coop Funeral Care Blackburn at around 12.30pm bearing in mind Jim had passed away around 7am and was resting at home in his bed with family present. I was amazed at Coop Funeral Care prompt response, sensitivity and immediate plans to arrange for them to collect Jim to take him in to their care on the same day. The Funeral Directors arrived at 3.15pm, allowed us the time we need with Jim to say our goodbyes, and then very sensitively took Jim in to their care. What touched me was that they made Jim's bed up and left a white rose on his pillow, and whilst only a small touch, it was very comforting. I was contacted by Ashley Funeral Director and went in to meet and discuss plans the next day. Ashley explained Jim's journey, and I was very happy that Jim would be cremated in West Lancashire and we would be able to collect Jim's ashes which we will do within the next week when contacted to do so. Coop Funeral Care talked about Jim, his family, his beloved dog etc, and with a number of follow up calls to us they invited us to put some letters and photographs of Dixie his dog with Jim for his final journey. It was also very comforting that Jim would be escorted by an employee of Coop Funeral Care, and we were informed a piece of music would be played as Jim entered the Crematorium. A Simple Funeral has no attendees which can be difficult for family members, however Coop Funeral Care gave us the date Jim would be cremated, and we were able to arrange a family and friend get together in order we could reflect and celebrate Jim's life on the day he was cremated which was reassuring and helpful for all of us. Coop Funeral Care Blackburn have been nothing short of amazing. As a family we feel they have taken the time to know Jim, which in turn has reassured us. If a member of your family elects a Simple Funeral, I would urge you to seek out advice from Coop Funeral Care, and as a side issue, the cost was slightly less than an online quote, however I would have paid more if necessary for the reassurance and fantastic service. Ashley, you and your company at Blackburn, have made what has been a traumatic period in our lives, just that bit more bearable and we thank you as a family for this.

The care taken by blackburn funeral care was excellent they took care of our dad with the greatest of respect from taking him from the care home to the whole funeral service they helped sort everything out especially when it came to having the funeral on the same day as the queen we would like to especially thank Ashley and Amber for all there help Thankyou

Although my Aunt had chosen the most simple and inexpensive of funerals, Amber treated us and her with the utmost respect and care. The whole experience was very positive.

The Blackburn branch were very helpful and made what could have been a distressing time much easier. Ashley was so good and we felt that mum was very well looked after while in the care. On the day of the funeral Amber was excellent guiding us throughout the occasion. The celebrant which Ashley found, Leisa was very good.

Our only complaint wasn't with the Blackburn staff, my nephew and his family wanted to visit mum but it was weekend, they rang and spoke with someone I think they said in Manchester who said they would contact Blackburn but apparently instead of ringing they sent an email which obviously wouldn't have been picked up until Monday, the day of the funeral. Luckily Amber rang me on Sunday evening for a final check and she sorted out a visit for Monday morning.

Thanks to Amber family got their final visit.

We Cannot thank Co-op Funeralcare Blackburn enough for all the Support we received at a very difficult time.The Care,Attention & Respect given to my Wonderful Husband John & Ourselves was beyond expectations & right from the first meeting to discuss arrangements, they instilled a calmness.The Love & Support does not cease after the funeral.They are truly amazing and make a difficult time,serene & peaceful.When my Husband pre-arranged our funerals a few years ago,he certainly made the Perfect Choice.Thankyou so much again.

Ashley at the Co-op based in Mincing Lane, Blackburn was nothing but short of fantastic, living 300 miles away from the funeral location he made the funeral planning a breeze, genuinely such a lovely guy and couldnt have asked for anyone better during the circumstances, he is genuinely a credit to the co-op team there and should be extremely proud of the way he carries himself for such a young individual, our dad couldn't have had a better send off and it was all thanks too Ashley.
