The guys were all very professional and very understanding. It was my first ever funeral, and it was for my mother :(. Very hard times indeed and felt very lost, overwhelmed and confused. Chris made me feel so at ease and made the whole thing stress free. He was so so lovely. I had so many questions as days went on and he was always happy to answer my questions. He was so supportive on the day, I couldn’t have done it without him. The team all looked very smart and were very respectful too. Couldn’t ask for a nicer funeral arrangement.

Originally established in 1948 by Walter John Farrier in Dover, W. J. Farrier & Son Ltd, Folkestone, was founded when the Farrier family acquired Thomas Family Undertakers in Folkestone after the previous owner passed away. Now in the third generation of family members, the team of professional, considerate staff are proud to care for your loved one and help you with every step of arranging a funeral.
Whether your loved one wanted a traditional religious funeral or a contemporary celebration of life, W. J. Farrier & Son can help you plan the perfect farewell. You can choose from a range of coffins, including traditional hardwood, cardboard, wicker and bespoke designs. W. J. Farrier & Son has its own fleet of Daimler hearses and limousines, and can also arrange for bespoke transport such as horse-drawn hearses and motorbike hearses if you wish for something different
