Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

My mum passed away suddenly and we hadn’t previously made arrangements. From the first phone all through to the funeral Rosemount were outstanding. They allowed me to tell them everything my mum wanted and they carried out mum’s wishes completely. Even giving me a phone call the day after to make sure I was ok and to tell me they were there if I had any questions. Incredible service at a distressing time.

The Rosemount Funeral Directors, Bridgend were brilliant. Stephen was excellent,
he came across as very caring and patient in the way he dealt with our indecisions and changes, he couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble, and Ian was terrific too, he was very understanding when we explained about family issues, and the way Ian led the procession with his top hat, tails and cane was unforgettable. Everything went very smoothly on the day, there were no issues at all. I can't praise them all highly enough.
