Our experience with Dunbars funeral care has been faultless, the staff are kind considerate and professional, covering all details and connecting our family with the excellent celebrant Jacky who managed our crematorium experience just perfectly , we were delighted with what the florist did for our mother’s flowers , an excellent choice in Dunbars for our mums last goodbye , thank you

Everything went according to plan and service was lovely. Had an issue with the registrar as doctor did not provide next of kin details. They took over and got it sorted and got appointment arranged to get my mums death registered. Very professional and compassionate from start to finish.

Our family cannot thank the staff at Dunbar & Sons enough for the arrangements they put in place for our mother’s funeral. Their tactful suggestions regarding the order of service were much appreciated as were their helpful updates leading up to the day of the funeral itself. Everything went like clockwork. And while we hope never to have dealings with Dunbar & Sons in the foreseeable future (for obvious reasons) we would recommend them highly to any family needing to organise a funeral.

Excellent service throughout the whole process. Fiona spent a lot of time with me, had great attention to detail and the funeral was perfectly organised. Fiona also suggested Gayle as the ideal celebrant for my mum’s funeral and her judgment was spot on as Gayle was perfect. Gayle also spent a lot of time with us and condensed all our memories into a lovely eulogy, delivered as if she knew my mum personally. Excellent job by the whole team.

The service for the funeral was very good but I felt that Fiona in the office was too busy to deal with us in the correct manner as she made a mistake with the kind of celebrant that we required for our needs and this had to be re-arranged. Having said this we were highly impressed by the celebrant Jacky McKinney who did a fantastic job & also the funeral director on the day was very competent & remained unflustered when the service had to be delayed as some of the family got held up in traffic. Fiona also gave us very good recommendations for the funeral tea & knew her job well.

Very patient hard working staff who guided me through the funeral arrangements. Paul and Fiona put together the funeral  I had hoped for .Many people at the service mentioned the way the service arrangements ran so smoothly. I was so touched the day after the funeral when Paul took time out of his busy day to phone me , ask how I was and gave me good advice about how to care for myself now that my Bob has gone.
