The experience I received from H&W Harkess was nothing short of outstanding, this is in regards to the funeral of my late mum and this was my very first time in organising something like this. Everything from the start of myself booking the service right through to the service going ahead was completely above in beyond an extremely straightforward process I was talked through which type of service I would like and asked, never forced, or pressured into anything extra in regards to flowers or a viewing e.t.c and I also feel that I was listened to throughout and not once felt rushed or hurried. As I said above this was the first time I had ever organised a funeral and was not looking forward to doing so but the experience, care, understanding and respect I received from H&W Harkess made an extremely difficult time in my life just that very bit easier. Funerals are never something we want to think about, especially when it comes to the death of a loved one, but I can honestly and wholeheartedly recommend H&W Harkess without a single doubt.

Once again I cannot fault the staff from H & W Harkess at Drum Street for their help and advice on organizing my late brothers funeral. The day of the funeral was held in terrible weather conditions and the staff help and advised the guests to stay under shelter until safe to do so. Thanks again. John Waugh

H & W Harkess have organised the funerals of loved ones in the past, so I knew I could trust them to look after my Mum and give her the goodbye she deserved. They were very respectful, kept me upto date with everything & were very happy to help in anyway they could. With my father having already planned most of his funeral with a Funeral Plan it was so much easier dealing with the funeral arrangements.
No question was to small for the H & W Harkess staff that I dealt with.
They asked the relevant questions when needed and all went extremely smoothly.
The little walk in front of the hearse as we left dad's house was a very nice touch before the drive to the service.

After the death of our mum nothing was too much trouble. From the initial contact through to the cremation the level of caring and professionalism from Angela & Stewart was excellent. Angela provided support and advice throughout. I would recommend them without hesitation.
