Rory dealt with our fathers funeral in a kind friendly professional manner, detailed every step of the way. 

He also set up a Facebook page for donations to Marie Curie which was perfect for our needs. 

On the day of the funeral there was total respect, compassion and professionalism throughout. 

I would thoroughly recommend their services to anyone.

Want to thank everyone involved  with  my mums passing . Every wish was taken care of without a worry. Everything thought of music for church and the order of service which was beautiful. The advert in the obituaries and the way the day went so smoothly without us worrying at all.

From the first call and visit by Rory the service was excellent, the girls and I were treated with respect and kindness, my husband was treated with great respect and dignity from the moment they collected him from home to the end of his funeral. We would also like to praise Rob Hazell for lifting our spirits by delivering an excellent eulogy in a dignified way. Everyone we met connected to Nicholas O’Hara were kind and friendly  we thoroughly recommend the services of your selves Nicholas  o,Hara thankyou Mrs Patricia Ann Wareham and family .

I was somewhat disappointment that we weren’t aloud to carry my mother into the crematorium. I did it for my mother-in-law just over 12 months ago with a quick chat with the compnay pull bearers beforehand. We didn’t need any training. 6 of us picked up the coffin and walked her in. No training for H+S which is what I was told the issues was. Can i just say i thought this excuse was total nonsense. I also heard from one of my extended family member who also had a death from the other side of there family and they also had no problem taking the coffin in. I believe you need to review this rule. To expect people to drive nearly 2 hrs for a 15 min H+S chat was not what in wanted to hear.

I chose O'Hara's to prepare my Mother's funeral just last year, and was astounded by the level of service given.  It was therefore an easy choicer to go back to them for my Father's funeral just days ago.  The Staff are wonderful.  Rory was assigned to us and his level of knowledge, calm manner and politeness knows no bounds, we found him utterly charming and the way he calms one's nerves before and on the day is a fabulous help.

The cars they own are absolutely stunning, comfortable and not depressing as I have found with the black cars.  The help provided with the planning process was brilliant, attentive and again professional.  Nobody was pushy, or trying to upset at all ever!  The little touches mean a lot, like the tissues in the car doors which had a beautiful one liner on them saying that sometimes a memory escapes from the eye and rolls down the cheek, and the little credit cards for purses/wallets , which have Dad's beautiful photograph from the service sheet on them as a keepsake which were left behind for us to find the day after the funeral.  The Salvation Army carried out our service and the Major conducting it commented herself on how professional they were, and gave them extra thanks because Rory even carried her umbrella from the arrival room through to the exit room something which she's never had done before!!

All this makes for a wonderful professional company who I can't praise highly enough and would have NO hesitation in recommending to anybody.  Please book them, you will NOT be disappointed.  Thanks to all concerned.
