This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Thanks to Gary, Mike and Paula who dealt with my late father's cremation. They dealt with it professionally, empathetically and would highly recommend to all.

Going forward the only two things I would say is to let family's know when their loved one has been brought into their care . It's important to know where they are and also to be informed when ashes are also back in their care .

Besides that I was very impressed with the staff and everything ran smoothly so thank you all

I couldn't of asked for better funeral directors. They took such great care of my husband and myself though out the process of organising the funeral to the actual funeral. Nothing is too much trouble. Gary Watson and his team are the best. I would recommend them everything.
