We chose Christopher's Funeral Directors as they came extreemly highly recommended. They were extreemly sympathetic, efficient, and gave brilliant advice on so many other aspects we needed to deal with. They liaised with other agencies on our behalf, this certainly lifted a burden from our shoulders making the process as smooth as possible. They kept in contact with us during the entire period from start to finish. We stressed we wanted a simple, dignified, family funeral, with minimal costs. Christophers discussed all the options available , and explained all the costs involved, there was absolutely no pressure to spend on anything we did not want. Christopher's organised a beautiful, simple family funeral. Tom and all the team are absolutely brilliant, nothing was to much trouble for them, there was someone on hand at anytime of the day( or night )to deal with problems and advice. I would highly recommend Christopher's Funeral directors at this most difficult time for anyone, they offer much more than a 5 star service, and never tried to sell any goods or services we did not want.

Christophers family funerals have taken care of many of our family members over the years and the service we received from Tom and the team was outstanding. From my initial enquiry when asking if we could take care of our late mother right through to the day of the funeral and beyond. They even went to the trouble to phone me a couple of days after to enquire for the family. We would recommend the services they offer to anyone.

I couldn’t have asked for a better service from Christopher’s Family funerals.  They were sensitive, accommodating, patient and professional throughout the whole process of my Dad’s passing and funeral.  They had an excellent sound system which we used in the church. They co-ordinated everything well, managing different elements of the service some in Devon and some where we had the funeral in Hampshire. The order of service looked great and they were competitively priced.  They responded quickly to emails.  I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

They were absolutely great. Along with Charles Russell, they helped us every step of the way, at was a painful and distressing time, to put together a service that was exactly right for our son. Held in their Homeland Hall it was intimate and just the right size for our family and friends.

From our family’s very first contact with Christophers we were impressed by the support, guidance and gentle leadership that Tom provided at the time my father’s death. He listened carefully to our wishes and then proposed options to achieve them. This included introducing us to a celebrant, Rachel Henderson, who demonstrated the most amazing talent in capturing the essence of my father and his life. Throughout the entire time Tom and his team have managed the details, communicated with us clearly and delivered the most ‘amazing’ (my mother’s word) and joyful family funeral service – not something we could have believed possible. The outcome for our family are wonderful memories of a wonderful man, celebrated in the way we had hope for. Our heartfelt thanks to Tom, Damien and Rachel – we consider you a trusted part of our family.
