The service I received was 1st class from start to finish , Linsey in the office was so helpful and made the whole experience easy .Linsey was able to help with all aspects of a funeral with knowledge of council involvement and memorial headstones.

I was grateful for the quick response on advising of my husband's death. He was treated with dignity and respect, oh so important in those moments. I felt he was cared for whilst waiting for the funeral and my requests honoured. Everything went smoothly on the day giving a good send off. The best it could have been.

I was told that Sue's body had been moved from Silverleigh care home to JF Clarke and Son undertakers, so on my return from Bournemouth I dropped into the undertakers and met with Lindsay the administrator lady there, I made an appointment to return, and from then on Lindsay was extremely helpful and advised me on all things, i.e. flowers, celebrant, service, crematorium and wake, also was very chatty and kind, the whole process from start to finish was floorless, I had nothing to worry about as all was done, I did meet with the celebrant, and Tim who was to over see the service and they all wore purple ties in Sue's honour which I thought was a nice touch as it was her favourite colour, John our driver was very good and as we arrived at the crematorium early could he drop us of so we could use the toilets. I cannot recommend this undertaker enough, as they were professional in how they operated , well done.

We had to rearrange the funeral of my father after my mother passed away 9 days later and F J Clarke and sons made it possible to have a joint funeral and cremation with very kind and efficient service that made the whole thing a lot less stressful.
Excellent service and thoroughly recommended.

JF Clarke & Son have buried both of my parents. They deserve a comfortable five-star review. I am grateful for the kindness and professionalism of Lindsey and Greg who helped my Mum's funeral take place very smoothly in January 2026. They have real attention to detail and I felt confident that should anything unexpected have taken place, they would have been able to pivot and adjust to deal with it immediately.
Lindsey provided kind and knowledgeable support throughout which I found reassuring and useful. Greg helped me make the decisions I needed to make in a clear and straightforward way. I was grateful that their record keeping is good because we were able to reference my dad's funeral from six years ago to make sure that we were choosing for my mum, what she had chosen for my dad.
On the day, Greg and his team did a lovely job in the pouring rain of Storm Goretti. They were smart, well-turned out and patient, despite the challenging conditions.
I appreciated the diplomatic and generous way that the team handled some slightly challenging and unexpected requests from my wider family. The overall impression was that they have dealt with most things and there is little to surprise them.
I thought that the service offered good and fair value for money and I also appreciated the cosy and calm office space which provided an oasis of support during a really terrible time.
They never rushed me or made me or my family feel pressured and were consistently informative and helpful. JF Clarke & Son would be my first choice and my best recommendation.

The funeral arrangements for my late husband were excellent from start to finish with compassion and understanding at such a sad and difficult time.
Everybody involved were very professional and dealt with every aspect of the arrangements which lifted the burden off of me and my family.
A thank you does not really express all their attention to every detail, as I said before, at such a difficult time.
I would definitely recommend them in the future to anyone who sadly would require their services.
