We, ( my brother and myself) found Cherish easy to contact and deal with. They dealt with everything with care, the utmost respect and it was fully communicated back to us. Cherish made something that was very difficult; very easy for us. I hope we never have to but I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. On top of everything they are all thoroughly nice people.

The competitive price compared to other well-known high street companies did not mean that any detail was overlooked. Cherish Funeral Directors provide an extremely professional and personalised service. They could not have done more to help us in our hour of need, and there is nothing that could have been improved on. Full of compassion and understanding from the initial phonecall though to the collection of the ashes, Tim and his team guided us through the whole process and made all of the arrangements, with nothing being too much trouble. Every last detail was considered, and there were the extra thoughtful touches of a canvas print of Dad and personalised packets of forget-me-not seeds. The whole service was outstanding, and Cherish went above and beyond our expectations in making Dad’s final journey a very personal and memorable one. My family cannot thank Tim and his team enough for everything that they did. We have already recommended them to family and friends, and will continue to do so.

What a marvellous set of people in our hour of grief and need were Helen and the cherish funeral directors they were so compassionate and understanding. The moment that we spoke to Helen a great weight seemed to be lifted from our shoulders she was so understanding and nothing was to much trouble for her to sort out.we found that cherish funeral directors did a marvellous job in what was a very sad and torrid time for the whole family .Helen and cherish funeral directors arranged everything and no detail was ignored the funeral preparation and service and thanks giving was all arranged by Helen and her team .
Myself and the whole of the family can't thank cherish funeral directors and particularly Helen enough for the marvellous job that they did and it will not be forgotten.

We were very well looked after by yourselves the only comment is at the crematorium people who were waiting for us to arrive didn't really know where to go and were put into a room with the window they all felt a bit uncomfortable not knowing what to do they should have been taken in first or followed us in behind the coffin from outside I think.
Your team were wonderful please send thanks to them all and we will definately recommend you.

Really will be eternally grateful to the Cherish team at Swadlincote who handled my late wife’s funeral arrangements brilliantly. Nothing was too much trouble indeed they went out their way to make things easy for us. They are, I believe, Swadlincote’s last remaining family firm and that was a major reason I chose them in the first place. I was not disappointed

We’ve contacted different funeral directors in Swadlincote for prices as we didn’t know who to choose!

From the first phone and right until after the funeral. Tim and his staff went above and beyond.

We couldn’t believe the prices that we paid. It was the cheapest, and quite frankly. It was the best service! 

Everything from start to finish were amazing abs extremely a very high standards. They treated my wife like royalty. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Tim.

The whole service was outstanding! 

From the beautiful coffin, to the stunning Jaguar cars and the beautiful limousines, horses, order of services and even the  fresh flowers! We were totally amazed with it all.

I’m so glad we’ve used Tim and Matt at Cherish Funeral on Swad high street. 

And now we won’t go anywhere else if we ever need a funeral director in the future. 

As it’s a family business, we felt that we were part of the family as well. It made us feel very special 

The funeral home was stunning. Lovely, welcoming and felt very homely. 

Thank you to Tim, Matt and all the staff that looked after my wife, with respect, and in dignified manner, and quickly frankly a family member. 

You made it all very special and stress free!

Working with Cherish at Swadlincote with the package services they offer,  the various communication methods and the out of hours availability made making the arrangements easier for us . On the day of the funeral the company went above our expectations , the flowers and cars were excellent and the staff looked pristine in their suits . 
We would definitely recommend .
