Starting from the initial contact and subsequent meeting with Helen the entire process was seamless, nothing was to much trouble in fact they went above and beyond  in some cases, the whole team showed compassion throughout the service they gave is time to reflect  at the service we never felt rushed at any stage

Obviously, the death of a loved one is a very troubling time for everyone involved, and when I booked my first appointment at Cherish I must admit I was feeling overwhelmed by the whole idea of arranging a funeral.
Helen immediately put me at ease, explaining everything clearly and unhurriedly, and within about 30 minutes we had a plan sketched out for the day.
Everything was well organised, they liased with the church, the crematorium, and the wake venue to ensure everything went smoothly.
On the day, Matt and his team made sure that my Mum was treated with dignity at all times, and talked me through the various stages of the Day.
The day went really well. and all the guests agreed that the funeral was handled brilliantly at every step.
I can highly recommend Cherish Funeral Directors to anyone who sadly has to arrange a funeral, they really are a fabulous team.

Can’t recommend Cherish (Swadlincote) highly enough. Both Tim and Helen were very attentive, caring and compassionate with good attention to detail and nothing being too much trouble. The funeral all flowed without a hitch and was exactly to plan. We’ve had several comments about how impressive the order of service are.
Karen Gratton the Celebrant was also very caring, compassionate, empathetic and accommodating of our needs.

I can’t thank Cherish funeral directors enough for their support and professionalism during what has been a very difficult time for us. We truly felt that they were there for us and nothing was too much trouble. From the very first phone call when I spoke to Tim, I knew we’d made the right decision choosing Cherish. Matt put us at ease instantly when he came to take Dad into their care and Helen made us feel equally at ease when we met her to discuss the arrangements. Their service has been faultless in my opinion and I would highly recommend them.

I used to be a funeral director as my profession until I retired over ten years ago, I can quite honestly say they are incredible from day one arrangement, to comital at bretby crematorium if I could six stars in stead of five I would without hesitation.
