Helen is a very empathetic and sensitive person to deal with and she handled the whole difficult process of saying farewell to my son perfectly. Tim was a star on the day itself, he was extremely kind and didn't rush us - even when we looked in danger of over-running. He even got us jumping a red light!

From the very beginning of my brothers journey to the end Cherish have been absolutely wonderful. My brother knowing the outcome of his deteriorating health visited Cherish and Helen talked him through the funeral plan he eventually chose. I was with him and we both were very impressed with Helen and the way she paitently and sympathetically helped him at this very traumatic time. When the inevitable happened, again Helen was so helpful and I must mention Tim who made us a very good cup of tea as we discussed the details with Helen. Everything was handled professionally with respect and sympathy, at the same time the atmosphere in the premises was calm and very pleasant. On the day of the funeral everything went according to plan and a big thank you to Matt who looked after us on that day. I would also like to thank all the staff at Cherish behind the scenes that we never met. They all looked after Alan so well whilst he was in their care. None of us want to face the inevitable for ourselves or our loved ones but I would highly recommend Cherish to help you through that very sad time.

I didn’t know Cherish when I went in to enquire about arranging my wife’s funeral, but I am very glad I did.  From the moment I met Helen, who immediately put me at my ease, everything went like clockwork.  They worked out MY requests for Mary’s funeral exactly as I wanted them.  It was slightly unusual inasmuch that I took the commemoration service myself, ably assisted by Matthew and Brian in the Chapel at Bretby.  During the early part of the arrangements I twice met Tim the boss, and he was very understanding and helpful indeed.
I have no trouble with recommending Cherish for any funeral requests.  Their pricing structure is easily understood at what is after all a very stressful time, and to my mind it is more reasonable than the majority of undertakers.

The service we received from Helen and her team at Cherish (Swadlincote) was such a professional, caring, tentertive, and personal service. This was from first telephone contact, right through to the wake. Based on our experience other members of my family are now in discussion with Cherish about their funeral plans.

very proffesional from the start and so so quick to sort out dads needs we didnt have anything in place and dad was very close to death so we rang cherish at 12oclock and cherish had someone to take our wishes within 30 minutes so yes cherish arrived at our home at12.30 this is outstanding service by any means to which we are gratefull and cherish had everything in place within 20mins . the relieve to mum was like a dark cloud giving way to sunshine and dad passed peacefully away with twelve hours after and dads collection was smooth and dignified and the sevice cherish did for dad was outstanding and point by point what we had requested.
cherish swadlincote we would highly recommend to anyone.
