Diane and the team were exceptional in organising my mum's funeral. They were amazingly supportive of us on both a practical and emotional level, which was so reassuring. Mum was treated with a lot of respect and they were very keen that we were happy with everything along the way by keeping in contact regularly. They went the extra mile to help provide answers to worries that I had regarding mum's death, and were patient with me when I couldn't locate my Co Op card for ages, they were so very kind. From beginning the process to the end, we were dealt with sensitively and felt like they all had our backs. The Celebrant they advised for us was also a lovely lady. She was not only highly professional, but also so very kind and helpful. Co Op funerals are not overly extortionate price wise, yet the service is second to none. I can't recommend either the Co Op Funeral Service or the Etterby office and all the staff operating in both Carlisle offices highly enough. I'd like to send a heartfelt thanks to them all for easing the path through such a traumatic time for us.

Receiving a 'Reflections Questionnaire' exactly one week from the date of my husband's funeral was however, in my opinion, extremely inappropriate.

The team were fantastic with me, they made the process comfortable and relaxed and effortless for myself.

I wish to thank them all for making the day seamless as I could not attend. But everyone said the service was nice send off for Philip. The people who attended all complemented the co-op team that were involved. I would recommend your services over any other company.

My Mum and Dad had a pre-paid funeral plan with the Co-op, and when my Dad passed away, the funeral was arranged by Etterby Street Funeral Care. We found all of their staff to be courteous, caring, friendly, and professional. It helped enormously, at a difficult and upsetting time, to have their experience, knowledge, and professionalism, on hand to help  us make the decisions that needed to be made. Dad’s funeral was very much how we wanted it to be, and a large part of that was very much down to their assistance.
