Without the help of Jan, Sharon and Siobhan, this sad time would have been very difficult, and the family and I can't thank them all enough for their support and knowledge. This is the second funeral they have arranged for our family in the last two years or so, and both have been to a very high profesional standard. I would recommend Coop Funeral care at Spencer Street, Carlisles to anybody. Our thanks to all the staff.

Staff were friendly and considerate throughout all procedures, explaining each
step of the process and allowing time to think before having to make  decisions.
Help was there when needed but i was allowed to feel ‘in charge’ of decisions being made, which was reassuring.  An excellent team.

The undertaker was professional the funeral itself was well organised and respectful but this was mainly due to the celebrant although the director did make sure that everything went to plan

The Carlisle team were incredibly supportive, professional and helpful during a time of grief, when our Mother passed away. Sharon, Siobhan and Jan kept in constant contact, keeping us updated on what was happening at all times and acted with great empathy and understanding, making a difficult situation and time in our lives easier to deal with.
There were some initial concerns with the responsiveness of the printer for the order of service and whilst this was out of the local teams hands, they did everything they could to escalate these issues with the printer. This is positive feedback for the local team but maybe an area to look into from a Head Office perspective
We couldn't fault the Carlisle team, they were very respectful, in tune and sensitive to the situation and went out of their way to ensure that our family's wishes were met.
Should we ever need funeral care services in the area again we would definitely use the Carlisle Co-Operative team.

This was an extremely difficult time for me facing making funeral arrangements on my own. The staff at the Carlisle branch were so kind and considerate showing genuine empathy. Jan who organised the funeral almost held my hand through the entire process, the service was beautiful. Not only Jan deserves praise but also the other members of staff I had contact with, Sharon and Wendy who helped me through the viewing process and the financial side with their kindness. I can't praise them enough.
