Standard Simple Funeral

Service includes:

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

It has been very stressful in the aftermath of my gran's passing and getting everything organised. This, with the noticeable exception of the funeral which went without a hitch. Everything was organised seamlessless and everything taken into account. Chloe went the extra mile to find some artificial Daffodils which were my Gran's favourite as they are out of season. I would never have thought of that!

From the minute we first met George, he was so professional yet friendly. He was a great help running through the arrangements with us, getting to know the family. He was onhand at anytime to answer questions we may have and was flexible with the viewing times. On the day, he and his colleagues gave our mum the best care at the parlour and graveside.
