Arranging a funeral is stressful and very emotional. It's not something we have a lot of experience in doing and needed help, support and good guidance. The Co-Op Funeral Service in Bletchley gave us all the support we needed in a sensistive, caring and friendly way. The support we had to arrange the funeral of Robert was excellent. The staff were friendly and able to guide us through what needed to be done, ensuring that the respect and care was given to Robert. We felt Robert was in good hands and would receive the send off he deserved. Nothing was too much trouble and they conducted themselves with absolute professionalism. Thank you to everyone at the Co-Op Funeral Services Bletchley for helping us say a respectful final farewell to Robert.

The service provided was excellent.  However, two of the pallbearers bringing in the coffin to the church were very wobbly and at one point it looked as though they were going to drop it - both arriving and leaving.

The lady in the shop provided excellent service at a trying time. However the service itself could do better at communicating what is happening at each stage of the process. Mums cremation did not happen for nearly 4 weeks after she was taken into Co-op’s care.

The website did not recognise my membership and so did not provide the small discount that should have been available. This has been noted to the service but has not been resolved.

From start to finish, Natalie our Funeral Director was approachable, friendly & professional. The Celebrant Kim was caring & professional. The whole funeral went smoothly which is all you can ask for on such a sad day.

From start to finish Bletchley Funeralcare were excellent. So caring and thoughtful and extremely efficient. They made a difficult time so much easier and less stressful. The one thing you really don't ever want to have to do is arrange your daughters funeral. Losing her at 24 is the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with.

From the first call I they had so much compassion, complete understanding and support, there was no pressure, time was on my side. When I went into make the arrangements it was like being with close family, I wasn’t rushed just encouraged to do things at my pace. I decided to have a Direct Cremation just couldn’t face seeing my daughter in her coffin. They kept in contact all the way through, from her being moved to her final cremation details. The crematorium also stayed in contact and kept me up to date on her return to me.

When her ashes were delivered back, the driver was so lovely. We had a little chat before handing her over, straight away I needed to have her out of the tube and into her beautiful urn, called the same day and popped down to have her transferred. We talked and laughed while she was being transferred again there was no rush, we sat and chatted making my life changing experience manageable.

If anyone is struggling to arrange a funeral I very highly recommend the Coop, I don’t for one minute regret having a Direct Cremation we are having a Celebration of Life instead, which makes this end of her chapter much more manageable.
