I found Co-op Funeralcare to be very accommodating, patient and caring; they went out of their way to make a sad day very special.

I had a telephone call the day before the burial from Nicki who advised me she would be attending the next day. We talked about my mother and her love of music and Vera Lynn. Nicki was easy to talk to and very understanding. She advised me she would phone  me the next day. I felt very comforted by her call. 
The following day Nicki rang to say that they carried Mum on their shoulders whilst playing Vera Lynn “We’ll meet again”  also she changed the lyrics slightly to another song and read them to my mother. 
I was so moved and uplifted.
Nicki had taken on board all my chatting.  
I enjoy telling friends and family of Mum being laid to rest with Dad and my Brother.

Ive rated very good however after paying £60 for the live link so others who could not attend the funeral could watch remotely I asked if i could have this dowloaded on a stick to keep. The answer was yes but I would have to pay another £60.
This I find after all we payed is disgraceful. I to would like feedback from what I have mentioned.

My Mothers Funeral was booked five weeks in advance for a Monday Cremation, so I thought I’d made sure  Patchway Funeral directors had all they needed well in advance, however I was receiving URGENT emails from Yate branch & the Celebrant,  which I didn’t see until late evening on the Thursday requesting I send the photos & Order of Service details, if I wanted the Order of Service be printed in time for Monday Cremation.  I felt panic & very distressed as all the owness was put back onto me, as a matter or urgency because the Patchway branch  was closed??
I then received email from Lynne at Downend branch who thankfully offered the reassurance & sorted it out for me thank goodness.
My 5 star service recommendation  would go to Lynne at Co Op Funeral Director a Downend

A big thank you to Paige for all her help and support through the difficult time, she was always at the end of the phone to guide us when needed.

Also  was very impressed that we received a call from the pallbearer the day before the funeral to talk us through what would happen on the day. They acted in a very professional manner and my mum had a good send off.

Found service to be as expected, with no problems at all. I won't give it top mark as the Patchway office was closed when I first needed them.

Excellent service for Dad's funeral service, after an unsatisfactory start.
I had an appointment arranged at your patchway branch, and no one was there and was redirected to your westbury-on-trym office, this caused by Mother a lot of stress at an already difficult time for her. It wasn't helped by being unable to find the office and took us 50 minutes to get there. After that though, Emelia was excellent and we are happy with the service we received.

Thank you for the lovely send off you gave my late father in law with such a small group of family present. His granddaughters would very much like a copy of the service and a note of which music was played if possible and Paul's reading. We remember the last piece of music was the music from Last of the Summer Wine which sounded very beautiful and almost haunting.

On behalf of my husband and family we would like to thank you all very much for your kindness and thoughtfulness.

Katie and the team were so kind and practical. They listened and made really helpful suggestions. For example, they suggested wildflower seed packets instead of order of service, which we would not have thought of, but which reflected my sister's personality perfectly. Many were touched by this idea and those who couldn't be there could still participate. Thank you team - you have helped us through a very sad and difficult time. We so appreciate all you did.
