Both Nick and David were very efficient and professional whilst arranging the funeral of my late mother-in-law. Their handling of the funeral arrangements allowed ‘the day’ to pass smoothly.

In particular, David’s reading of the eulogy and the Service was extremely appropriate to the occasion. Nick kept us totally informed at every stage leading up to the funeral.

I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I just wanted to thank you Nick and David for arranging and carrying out Mums funeral yesterday. You have done both Dads and now mums and I can honestly say you took all of the stress and worry away from us at such an unbearable time (especially as Dad’s was during strict COVID restrictions)

Would recommend Wedlake funeral directors to anyone wanting their loved one treated with the upmost dignity and respect. Stan was looked after perfectly from the moment he was collected from Treliske and taken to Wedlakes chapel of rest where he stayed for over a month. Both Nick and David are lovey, kind compassionate people and nothing was too much trouble for them, they were there to talk to and help in anyway they could. We  were allowed to go and sit with Stan whenever we wanted and were given as much time as we needed to sit with him privately and he looked so peaceful and at rest. The funeral was conducted perfectly and compassionately and everything went like clockwork from start to finish. They made the hardest day of my life bearable and I thank them both from the bottom of my heart.

We had no hesitation in choosing Wedlake Funeral Homes as we'd attended several sad occasions where they officiated. It was also Aaron's choice for the self same reason. It's only when it becomes much more personal you appreciate how professional, efficient, understanding, caring and empathetic both Nick & David are. They were on call whenever we had any sort of query, were genuine in their responses and made sure absolutely everything was as we all wished. The inclusion of Matthew, Lacy, Tia and Sonny were really appreciated. The added touches of the Star Wars Themed Order of Service and the framed photograph of Aaron, one not only for us but Matthew & Family giving that little bit extra, taking that extra step - truly unforgettable..

The service we received from Nick Jago was second to none. We were kept fully informed at each stage of the arrangements, at a very difficult time for the family.
Any questions were answered sensitively and promptly - either by phone or email.
This was the second time our family has used Wedlake Funeral Home and would certainly use them again in the future.
