My husband died suddenly and unexpectedly in September. Whilst still in shock, a local minister recommended Andy Bowness from Lyndon M. Leeson to me and I can see why. From the outset, he was knowledgeable, professional, reliable and compassionate. He was on hand at any time of the day and kept us informed every step of the way. His advice was invaluable and we always felt in safe hands, nothing was too much trouble. He organised a small family cremation followed by a wonderful service of thanksgiving celebrating my husband’s life. It was a day shared with family and friends filled with happy memories, tears, laughter and much love. Andy made this very difficult time much more bearable and we cannot thank him enough. We would certainly highly recommend his service to others. Thank you Andy!

We couldn’t fault the service we received from Lyndon Leeson and Andrew Bowness, the professionalism and compassion they showed the whole family was such a comfort in our sudden loss. Andrew Bowness at Lyndon M Leeson Funeral Directors was excellent, he was professional, caring and understanding at this sad time.
There was personal attention to every detail ensuring that we, as a family did not have to have the added stress, with the organising of any part of the funeral.
He came to our home and talked through our options, giving us suggestions where needed to help with our choices taking away the worry of the funeral.

The service & funeral were professionally carried out to an excellent standard and we could not have wished for better.

Through Andrew and Lyndon M Leeson Funeral Directors we chose Margaret Foxley to act as Celebrant at the service, she again was professional, understanding to our needs and caring to our loss.
The service she led was both caring and appropriate to my dad & his life, all who attended commented on how lovely the service had been.

When our father died, Lyndon M Leeson was recommended to us. We’re so glad they were. We as a family had not been in the situation of needing a funeral director so didn’t know what we needed to do or what to expect. We contacted Andrew Bowness of Lyndon M Leeson and he came to my home to talk us through everything we needed to know and do. He was extremely professional and at the same time compassionate and friendly.
Nothing was too much trouble for him, he was contactable by phone to answer any questions we might have and kept us up to date as the arrangements were made. The care and consideration taken made the day go without a hitch, for which we are so grateful.

I would unreservedly recommend this business to anyone who finds themselves in this position.

My sister and I dealt with Andrew Jackson from our first call to him kindly dropping mum's ashes back with us. He personally answered all calls and responded to messages, all very promptly; nothing was ever too much trouble.

We used Andrew to organise everything for us, except the flowers, but he also liaised with the florist on our behalf.

Andrew showed compassion and care throughout, and was highly efficient.

We knew we were in good hands with this business and you will be too. (I should add that we used another independent company to organise my dad's funeral and the experience was entirely different.)

Andrew's care and attention made a stressful experience as easy and worry-free as it possibly could be.
