We can thoroughly recommend M. Sillifant and Sons. Nothing was too much trouble for Martin and Sarah - they arranged the whole day so well and were very kind and sympathetic when we went to see Mum.
A lovely family business who take care of the arrangements so well. We used them for my Dad 6 years ago - big thank you from us all.

M. SILLIFANT AND SONS have recently assisted my mother and I to arrange for my father's funeral service and family burial. Throughout the decision making process the funeral director was completely professional, considerate and supportive. We highly recommend anyone to choose this long established family run business specialising in this field. It can be a very difficult time, made easier by experienced professionals.

Martin & Sarah were very sympathetic to our wishes & helped guide us through the whole process. They also helped us to secure a particular minister who we felt very at ease with. Mark and his team provided an excellent service which was professional, comprehensive and sensitive.
Starting with the initial contact Mark was able to provide advice and guidance for planning and arranging the funeral, making sure our own wishes and circumstances were fully taken into account.
On a practical level, being a local family concern, Mark had well established contacts with the church minister, and was able to take on and co-ordinate all of the necessary arrangements.
The actual funeral went smoothly as planned thanks to the support and advice from Mark and his team.
We couldn't have wished for better.

I was really pleased with the way Sillifant’s conducted my father’s funeral. From the very first meeting they made it very personal. The cremation was just how Dad would have wanted it. Sillifant’s managed to make a very sad time calm and dignified with a personal touch.

We have always found Sillifants warm, friendly, courteous and respectful without being too formal. My mum's funeral went without a hitch. We didn't have to think about the arrangements at all. Everything just happened and we were able to focus on mum.
