Excellent. Both efficient and very compassionate from start to finish. Felt particulary cheered at an otherwise sad time by Judith, who was like a good friend during both the planning and on the day. All staff I had contact with were respectful and caring over the phone, at Brooke's and at the Chapel of Rest. Would definately recommend them as a service in the sad business of the loss of a loved one.

From the first phone call to the playing of a very special piece of music at the end of our mum's service Helen and her amazing team guided us with compassion, kindness and care. I can't praise Chris and the staff at George Brookes enough for the kindness, caring and professional way they supported us throughout our mum's funeral.
Nothing was too much trouble and our mum got exactly the send off we wished for. Every small detail was thought of from the rainbows on the screens in crematorium to them offering to take mum's carers and friends from her care home to the funeral.

Unfortunately we have had to use George Brooks twice within a year for both of our parents. 

Ok both occasions both Helen and Judith and the entire team were nothing but kind, sympathetic, respectful and utterly professional. 

To lose a parent is devastating, George Brooks organize take away the pain and stress that you face at that time. We are utterly grateful and thankful for their help and guidance.

At a time when you feel numb and distraught - Helen and the team took all the problems and organisation away.   Ensuring in a gentle way that we got what we wanted for the final goodbye, without having to do any of the arrangements ourselves.   A wonderful caring service i would recommend to everyone at such a sensitive time

Helen Wilson was absolutely magnificent in the way she handled the immediate family on the day of the funeral which made a potentially emotional situation much easier to deal with.

 I will never forget the casual way we all walked to the graveside and back after the interment inspired by Helen. 

The girls in the office were very efficient and treated us with sensitivity.

George Brooke have a long history of arranging funerals in a highly satisfactory way and it is reassuring to know that both Helen and Judith have very much followed in the footsteps of their father, George Brooke, who was a past master at putting the bereaved at their ease.

An absolutely superb service. Everyone we dealt with was kind, respectful and considerate. We never felt under any pressure to 'upgrade' any of our choices or for any 'extras'.
We were kept informed every step of the way.
The Order of Service books were beautiful as was the slideshow tribute. I was amazed how good they made old grainy photos look.
