In loving memory of David 'Dave' John Cope who sadly passed away on 3rd April 2022 Dave was a great guy larger than life. He was well liked and always loved by his wife Theresa and his son John They were with Dave always and during his final hours until death.
Dave was an East End boy born in Stepney 1950. During Dave's life he had a variety of jobs beginning as a Roof Felter, London Transport Bus Driver. Worked as a Security Guard at British Telecom and The Guild Hall. Dave was a self taught drummer learnt this skill from a young age. He played in many East End pubs . He loved to sing and became well known for his great singing voice always a ballad and Frank Sinatra was his forte. Dave loved music and during his later life he branched into disco music and became famously known as Disco Dave playing in some of the East End clubs. Dave always created a great party atmosphere. It was always a fun night and good memories to cherish.
It is a great loss to all Dave's close family and friends that he has passed over from this world but we all know that because Dave was battling a lot of illnesses at the same time ,this was too much for him to bear and believe that he now much happier like his old self again and in a better place . God bless you Dave you are never forgotten.
