To my fun loving uncle, Bill was the one to give me my first racing bike, my first pillion ride on his motorbike, taught me how to draw and gave me the opportunity to have my first make over and wear stilletto heels as a bridesmaid at his wedding to Anne. I have very fond memories. Rest in peace.

We have several pictures of Uncle Bill through the ages, but this is the earliest/youngest one of him taken in June 1944 at the wedding of his eldest brother Alex. Also present are his other brother Arnold, sister Doris, and parents Bill and Nellie.
