On 2nd April 2022, suddenly in hospital, of Almondbury, formerly of Dewsbury, aged 76 years, Mavis, loving and much loved wife of Peter, dearly loved mum of Jackie and Richard, a very dear mother in law of Dave and Kathryn and proud grandma of Joseph and Isobel.
A service of thanksgiving and celebration of the life of Mavis Shaw will be held at Almondbury Methodist Church on Friday 6th May 2022 at 11am, a private committal for family only will take place prior to the thanksgiving and celebration in Church. All are welcome to join the family for refreshments in the church hall. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made online or sent to George Brooke Ltd., for the benefit of the Royal British Legion.
