On 17th March 2022, in hospital, of Dewsbury, Joan, Loving and much loved wife of the late Les, a dear and loved mother, grandma, great-grandma, a very dear sister and auntie.
Funeral service will be held at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Wednesday 6th April 2022 at 1.15pm. Friends please accept this intimation and meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers may be made online, or sent to George Brooke Ltd., for the benefit of Diabetes UK.
Joan was a great friend to my mum Connie Coy. They were friends since the 1940's, bridesmaids for each other and partners in crime in the WRVS cafe in Dewsbury Hospital. Both Joan and Les were a great support to my mum when my dad died. They invited her on trips and spent happy times at their caravan at Bempton.
