In loving memory of Janet Ann Butler who sadly passed away on 27th February 2022.

Myself and Janet were married on the 14th February 1987, and we have two children and also two grandchildren, Janet worked as catering assistant at the local council offices in Bexley which she enjoyed and made some good fiends one of which she still kept in touch with, she will be sadly missed by myself her children grandchildren family and friends.

Laura sometimes thought we were so different like chalk and cheese, but we were alike in a lot of ways both not liking parties ‘or night clubs, preferring instead to go out to dinner or the pictures.

I also managed to get you to go fishing with me although you did enjoy the sunbathing and reading your book.
I used to like going and collecting pie and mash for both of us when I was working close to home, then have dinner at home together.

I remember complaining about having to go shopping with the problems of parking and there being too many people in the supermarket, I wish I could go with you now.

We've had 35 happy years of married life and this seems too short, we have two children and grandchildren that we can be proud of.

Janet was my wife and my best friend ever, you would sometimes be asking us to do something, and then tell us you will miss me when I am gone, this is now truer than ever.

Your husband Paul.

Mum, there’s not a day I miss you and thinking of you, all the fun times we had, jokes we played on each other. I hope you will be watching over me when I get to have children and getting married just a shame you didn’t hold on that bit longer so you could of seen the venue and that you can still enjoy the good times I encounter. I miss you mum and love you loads and I was glad I was with you holding your hand till the end. I will never forget you. RIP mum
