Suddenly in hospital on March 17th aged 93 years, George, formerly of Hetton-le-Hole. The dearly beloved husband of the late Joyce, much-loved dad of Mary and father-in-law of Tom, dearly loved grandad of Caroline and Ian, treasured great grandfather of Sophie. Family and friends please meet on Friday April 1st for a service in St Michael and All Angels Parish Church, Easington Lane at 11:45am, interment to follow in Hetton Cemetery. We feel so lucky to have had a very close and loving relationship with dad. It is hard to say goodbye to such a caring dad. The whole family are so proud of him. We cherish the memories of our happy life together.

Sending my condolences to Mary and Tom. I have attended George's house to maintain his gas boiler for almost 20 years what a wonderful man. Rest in peace George now with your wonderful wife again.my thoughts are with the whole family at this very sad and hard time
