Peacefully on February 27th aged 76 years, Alan. A dearly loved dad, a devoted grandad and a loved brother, uncle, great uncle and friend to many. Friends please meet on Thursday March 10th for a service in the Independent Methodist Church, Hetton-Le-Hole at 11.00am. Committal to follow in Durham Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to Hetton Vic for refreshments. No flowers by request. Donations in lieu kindly received for the work of Cancer Research UK. A donation box will be available in the church.
