My goodness Lisa, I just don't know what to say. I had the pleasure of working with you on Maternity, you always made me laugh. You could never wait to put your Christmas Tree up, you would have it up all year round given an option! You were such a fighter & I always read your updates with such hope for you, even in pain, you continued to update us all & made us laugh. You have the biggest heart. So kind & caring, you always thought of others. When I was losing my own Mother, you messaged to ask how my Mum was, & now, as you were, iam truly sad to hear you grew your wings. He only takes the good ones, and that you were. No longer in pain now lovely. My thoughts are with all your family, especially your son, you always spoke of how proud you were of him. Sleep easy now, no longer suffering. XxxX

We have shared so much, made so many beautiful memories…Together
both laughed and cried a lot! So it goes without saying how much I am going to miss you…Yes much, much, much, much, much 💔

I am especially going to miss our lazy long marathon 12 hour lunches. Our crazy conversations about life. Your long bear hugs! Our annual trip to Keydells to buy each other a little sparkly Christmas 💫🎄gift early in October…My tree will now forever be dressed in some Christmas magic from you🧚‍♀️ I will also miss you being my DJ, sharing songs with me that you loved and gigs will never be the same again 🎶🎵

I am sad we didn’t get to see ABC play live that one last time as we planned and that neither of us made it to the Philharmonic in Liverpool earlier this month for the special CC 40 th Anniversary gig. But, I know you and I know you would have been there in spirit to see your beloved Jack play his keys, just as you will be when ‘Smokey’ (I mean Martin 😉) sings and I hear violins 🎻

There is so much I could say about wonderful you…You had the biggest loving heart and kindest soul…No matter what you were going through, always thoughtful and caring. I am truly grateful that our paths crossed in this life because as a friend you meant the world to me…Thank you for being you and for sharing the good times and the not so good…I love you so much for all time, Nadine AKA Lettuce x x x

As I’m writing the nicknames we gave each other I am remembering that very summer night after we’d been at my sister’s all day. I dropped you back to Wickham. We stood on your Mum and Dad’s drive for what seemed like hours sobbing and laughing. As sad as I am right now, I’m actually smiling to myself because you were actually one of the funniest people I’ve ever known x
