So so sad to hear of John passing. Have been thinking of his family and close friends today. I worked with John for many years he was always so kind and funny! I travelled to snowdonia with John along with Rob and Linzi. We started our journey and after a short while John said he couldn’t do it and headed back to the hotel. After a few hours we reached the summit sad that John wasn’t with us, we had been resting up and celebrating our climb and after a short while who appeared through the fog… John.. he never gave up!!!

You will be sadly missed John, shine bright x

John was a real one-off. He would throw himself into whatever challenge you would give him. You could never guarantee he would get it right, but he would certainly give it his best shot!
He was a real entertainer and raconteur, never getting embarrassed to tell one of the countless stories of when his life's events never went quite according to plan and he would often have us in fits. A real character who would light up the work place with his enthusiasm for work and life and his infectious laugh that we will never forget.

We had the pleasure of having John work with us on a number of occasions over a long period of time and no-one who worked with him could forget him. Even when he wasn’t here, we would be kept up to date with his mishaps through Rob and these would be frequent so it was almost like he was still here!

John was a truly lovely man and gent who idolised his family and was committed to whatever was asked of him.
He is going to be missed by so many people and we know that everyone here who knew him, was touched by emotion when the sad news broke. John really was one of life's best.
