We still can't quite believe it. One of life's most gentle souls. We'll never forget the many fond memories we shared during the Essex Roadsters' days. And the many conversations we had down the pub, about our shared appreciation of good rock bands. Taken far too soon. Rest in peace, Paul. With love. The O'Learys' xxxx

I hope this goes a little way towards the research and awareness of this silent killer.

Paul was really one of life’s true good guys, a real gentleman in every sense of the word. Such a sad loss to all of us.
I remember first meeting Paul along with the rest of the RC car club gang when they used to come in to Blackwells getting ready for that next race. That passion never changed, the cars just got bigger.
That was over 30 years ago now, that’s 30 years that I got to call you my friend and for that I will be eternally grateful.
Rest In Peace Paul you will be missed.

Paul was the kindest, ‘gentleman’ in the true sense of the word. Always happy in his work and willing to help. A quiet man, slightly shy, but we never found him anything but pleasant mannered. He will be missed by more people than he would ever have realised. Such a loss.
